Description
This years York Region Zombie Hunt has 2 components, we have the Hunt where people can find Zombie Hunt Brain Ballots by supporting their local businesses. These ballots provide a chance for the individual to enter themselves into a draw for some incredible prizes provided by our event partners and it asks the participant to nominate their favorite local business for a Zombie Choice Award consisting of a prize package from St. John Ambulance. The second part of our event is the Zombie Walk. This will be taking place on October 31, along Main Street in Newmarket with participants meeting at Riverwalk commons for one of 3 waves of zombies 12, 2 and 4 pm. For this part of the event space is limited and a registration is required with a cost of $10 per person with the proceeds going to support the community service programs offered by St. John Ambulance. Each person Registered will also be given a Zombie Survival Kit (Gift Bag) to help them remember the event and recognize some of our local partners.
