Mackenzie Health Foundation (formerly York Central Hospital Foundation) was established in 1977 to raise funds for equipment and priority projects at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital (formerly York Central Hospital).
In June 2012 Mackenzie Health Foundation accepted the challenge to help raise funds in support of the new Mackenzie Health Regional Healthcare System. Mackenzie Health Foundation’s mandate is to raise capital for the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital as well as funds needed to continue to enhance care at the existing Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
Since inception, through inspirational gifts from our community, Mackenzie Health Foundation has granted more than $64 million to fund priority projects and purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
